AI IDEAS · AI CODE · AI GAME DESIGN · REAL FUN

Small studio.
Big, strange worlds.

Patch Studio creates AI-developed indie games, then puts every build through human judgement, playtesting and an unreasonable number of revisions.

THE STUDIO

AI gets the first draft.
Players get the final say.

Patch Studio uses AI to move quickly from an idea to something playable. The work does not stop when the code runs. Controls, balance, readability, performance and fun still have to survive contact with actual humans.

01

Prototype fast

Turn unusual ideas into playable browser builds before the concept becomes a twelve-page strategy document.

02

Build with AI

Use AI across coding, visual direction, writing and iteration while keeping the design coherent and testable.

03

Polish with players

Release playable builds, collect direct feedback and improve what players actually experience.

HOW PATCH BUILDS

From rough idea to public release.

  1. 01

    Find the hook

Start with one clear reason the game should exist. In this case: an armed chip outlaw escaping a fryer. Civilization peaked quietly.

  2. 02

    Build the playable core

Create movement, combat, enemies, rewards and progression before decorating systems that are not fun yet.

  3. 03

    Test with real players

Release builds through itch.io, then collect bugs, balance notes and useful complaints from real players.

  4. 04

    Patch relentlessly

Improve controls, visuals, pacing and performance until the build feels intentional rather than merely technically alive.
